How  Much?

The fee payable for the first session (the assessment) is £50 for each individual client. The standard fees thereafter will be between £75 and £90 per session depending on the time of day for the regular appointment. Evenings (after 4 p.m.), lunch-times (midday and 1 pm) are more expensive than others. Sometimes it may be possible to agree weekend sessions, if so the fee will be £95 per session. Fees for those seeking relationship counselling are £90 for all sessions (although weekend sessions carry a fee of £100). Fees for group work will be notified to those participating prior to commencement of the group but are generally between £25 and £35 per session. All sessions last a maximum of 50 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

Payment is in cash, cheque or electronic transfer the day prior to the session. I regret that I do not accept credit or debit cards although direct bank transfers may be agreed to provided that the transfer is made the working day prior to the agreed session.

Fees are reassessed in January of each year but are subject to review at any time. Any alteration in fees will be notified to you.

Finally, businesses (mostly situated in the City and West End of London) may purchase a set number of "therapy hours" in advance so that their staff may arrange therapy/counselling within the therapy hours bought at nil cost to the employee. Generally hours must be purchased in blocks of 10 hours or more. A specific time/day is agreed; e.g. a total of 50 hours could be purchased for 1 -2 pm on (say) Mondays for 50 weeks. That day and time slot would then be available to one member of staff to attend for the period purchased. The attendee may be 50 different individuals or the same person for all or part of the 50 sessions. Strict confidentiality applies and no information is given to the business other than that the individual has attended. Individuals who subsequently become clients will then benefit from a 2.5 per cent reduction in standard fees for a period of 12 months.

The payment rates depend on the day and time of day agreed for the regular slots.
